What our sisters are saying...
When I was about ten years old and I was questioning everything, I wished for a resource, a tool and an acceptance letter to tell me that I am valuable, I do deserve it, my worth is infinite and that I am a brilliant beacon of light. And while there was no book for me, I can rejoice because today, black girls have more than 100 illustrations of their worth, value, brilliance, beauty and strength. I salute Dr. Cherita Weatherspoon and every woman who gave of themselves to inspire a generation of black girls who will one day be black women. Thank you all for letting your light shine so that little black girls and black women can have permission to do the same.

- Darnyelle Jervey Harmon, MBA
CEO, Incredible Factor University

Navigating life as a young Black woman in the current climate we live in can be stressful and filled with uncertainty. However, something that gives me comfort and hope is having strong Black women to look up to who are excelling in their fields encouraging me and building me up to be my best self. They are the blueprint for the next generation and I am excited for their words of wisdom and love to positively impact my life.

- Paige Harris

Howard University, Class of 2021

Growing up in Botswana, I was fortunate enough to have women in my life who instilled in me the drive I needed to become the woman I am today. "Love Letters to My Girls" shares the same sentiments and inspiration, as such, I can't help but feel a sense of duty as a woman to encourage all women and girls that they too can be and do anything they want in life. I am excited about this amazing book. I can't wait for you to open and read your letters and be inspired.

As a young Black woman growing up in a world where the odds are against me and I have to work ten times harder than my peers, it is important to know that I am not in this alone and 100+ other Black women have overcome the same adversities and more. I am so excited to read this book by Black women for Black women.

- Kayla E. White

This anthology of beautiful letters is a gift from Black women. I'm grateful for the vision and heart of this love transformation mission. My prayer is that the love of each letter would touch every heart and transform every life that reads them.

I am excited about the possibilities, the wisdom, the knowledge, the inspirational stories, the testimonials, and the lives I know will be changed as a result of this book.

- Joyce Dungee Proctor

As a Black woman, to be so brilliantly recognized is indescribable and needed, especially at this very sensitive time in our country. "Love Letters to My Girls" serves to build us up, provide healing and a space to be seen. Thank you!
